Jaime’s professional philosophy is simple: while divorce is often unavoidable, destruction is not. That philosophy has become the foundation of her legal practice, her writing, and her work as a national educator on family law issues.
In 2017, Jaime launched A Year and a Day: Divorce Without Destruction, a podcast dedicated to helping individuals better understand the legal, financial, emotional, and practical aspects of divorce. Through candid conversations with attorneys, therapists, financial advisors, parenting experts, private investigators, mortgage professionals, and other specialists, with more than 95 episodes produced, the podcast has become a trusted resource for individuals navigating family transitions.
Building upon the success of the podcast, Jaime authored A Year and a Day: Divorce Without Destruction, a practical guide designed to help individuals prepare for and navigate separation and divorce while minimizing unnecessary conflict and preserving important family relationships. Through both her book and podcast, Jaime has become a trusted voice for individuals seeking reliable information during one of life’s most challenging life events.
A sought-after speaker and media contributor, Jaime is frequently invited to share her insights on divorce, co-parenting, child custody, mediation, family finances, and conflict resolution.
